day and night but something special
i saw an idea of day and night so i had a little think of a way to make it even better it is. say when you got to an area in day time i think it would be cool if certain enemy's appear in day and whe its a night certain enemy's appear then. this would mean it would be harder to get special items and that means they would be rare to get.
where did i get this idea from pokemon not sure if you played them when u was little but if u did u would know that only certain pokemon come at night and certain ones in day.
what i mean is all the normal enemy's stay and they jsut add some for day and night. thoughts on what u think guys.

My head nearly exploded reading the message itself, thus I comprehended nothing.

Eh... Kvan must not've been paying much attention. It makes perfect sense. This isn't a new concept, really. Other games do this, as well. Only problem is, it becomes difficult to sync it properly... they can't do it real-time, because people exist in different timezones, and they'd have to time it such that everyone would get a chance at every hour on every day, at some point.
It's just all-around complicated.
Don't get me wrong, it's a great idea! Guild Wars is an excellent game, but a few little extras never hurt. Like the dancing, for example. Things like this are just a little tricky to pull off.

They have to have local server banks. Otherwise latency would be horrible. If they do in fact have local server banks for each region then it would be a relatively simple matter of putting the specific code into each of the server banks. If they do in fact run from one central server location then it would be too difficult and yet I applaud them for the incredibly low latency.

Or they can make it work like Neverwinter Nights? The game would have its own time, 1 hour in Guildwars time is equal to 2 mins of real time? Thus 48 mins of playing would get you through 24 hours of Guild Wars time, I think that would be enough time to farm different creatures? Or increase time, your pick.

I like the idea of mixing it up a bit. Like the scarab queen coming to the desert with her brood. Only make her come and go on a day/night cycle.

It's a good idea, and what's more Anet has already said this is in the works.
Not sure, but it *might* deploy with Factions. I don't remember specifically.
